FYI’s Process Automation Beta Release is here

 In About FYI, Enhancements, Mission

The game-changer the accounting profession has been waiting for has arrived

At FYI, we believe the accounting industry is uniquely poised to embrace a leap forward in productivity. And we’re proud to announce that our unique approach to process automation is now ready to be released to market.

Due to the cyclical nature of compliance work, many tasks completed by an accounting firm are repetitive in nature and therefore ripe for automation. Gathering data, filing, cross-linking and comparing documents , client communications and many more tasks must be executed efficiently in order to maximise productivity and client service.

Email and Document Management is Just The Beginning

The release of FYI Process Automation builds upon our existing core features across email and document management. It’s a huge step towards achieving our mission to liberate accountants by halving the time is takes to complete tasks on compliance jobs.

We are energised by the positive responses from FYI clients to date, and our Process Automation features will take their productivity gains to an entirely new level. Using FYI’s step-by-step wizard, you will be able to configure automated processes like:

  • Batch import a predefined set of client ledger reports to support workpapers
  • Daily import tax assessments including compare and appropriate client communications
  • Detect negative client sentiment on inbound emails and alert the responsible partner

Watch this 2-minute video to see how it is done.

And this is only the beginning! We are actively working with partners across the industry to broaden FYI’s scope and increase your automation capabilities across the practice.
